Kaizer Chiefs defender penned a heartfelt message to Luke Fleurs on his 25th heavenly birthday

 

Kaizer Chiefs right back defender Dillan Solomons who joined the club on a four year contract in July 2022 from now defunct Moroka Swallows is proving that his relationship with his late teammate, Luke Fleurs, who was gunned down at aged 24 was water tight.



The Kazier Chiefs right back recently took to his official social media account where he penned a heartfelt message to his late teammate who was shot dead in a hijacking incident on 3 April 2024 at a petrol station in Johannesburg where he was awaiting to be attended to, on his 25th heavenly birthday.


On Monday, Kaizer Chiefs right back defender Dillan Solomons whose contract is set to expire on July 2026 took to his Instagram stories where he shared a throwback photo where he was captured posing with his late teammate, Luke Fleurs, on what would have been the latter's 25th birthday.


As part of his caption, Dillan Solomons penned a heartfelt heavenly birthday message to the late Kaizer Chiefs jersey number 26 where he wrote, "Happy heavenly birthday my brother, it's been the toughest year without you, miss your stories bro. #pelinho".

In addition, the Kaizer Chiefs jersey number 18 has also made one appearance in the Carling Black Label KnockOut Cup competition this season
