Reports: Kaizer Chiefs Locked in Fierce Transfer Battle for Nigerian Striker

 Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly battling it out with North African giants Espérance de Tunis and Al-Ittihad Tripoli for the signature of Nigerian striker Clement Ikenna.

The 22-year-old forward is a free agent after parting ways with Bulgarian top-flight side Levski Sofia last month and has quickly become a hot target across the continent.

According to BSN Sports, Amakhosi have registered their interest despite already bolstering their frontline with three strikers in the current window — Flavio Silva, Etiosa Ighodaro, and the high-profile arrival of Khanyisa Mayo. Chiefs also retain the services of Ashley du Preez, Wandile Duba, and Tashreeq Morris, bringing their current striking options to seven.
