Wydad Casablanca have reportedly received a boost in their pursuit of Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Thembinkosi Lorch.Lorch's short-term deal expired last month, but the Moroccans are keen to keep the player following his impressive displays at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The report adds that Lorch has already given his approval to the Botola Pro 1 outfit over a new deal and has since travelled back to South Africa while awaiting the outcome of the talks.
Lorch was one of Wydad's top performers at the Club World Cup, which included scoring a goal against Juventus while he was the second highest-rated player before Phil Foden in the loss to Manchester City.
