“Only Club in the World”: Pyramids FC Coach Speaks Ahead of CAF Champions League Final

Pyramids FC head coach Krunoslav Jurčić has praised the resilience of his players ahead of their historic CAF Champions League final appearance, noting that his side is the only club in world football to have played a domestic league game between two legs of a continental final.

The Egyptian Premier League side, who are in the hunt for their first-ever CAF Champions League title, have endured a grueling schedule this season. After drawing the first leg of the final away from home, Pyramids were required to play a local league fixture before returning to continental duty for the decisive second leg.

> "We’re the only club in the world who played a league game in between a final of the Champions League," Jurčić told reporters, highlighting the unique and demanding challenge his squad faced.
