The national team claimed a massive win this weekend against their neighbours ahead of the continental tournament.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Amajita beat their counterparts from Botswana 6-0 in an international game that was staged at the UJ Soweto Campus in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Among the players who were on target was Kaizer Chiefs hot-shot Mfundo Vilakazi who scored a brace, one being a sublime free-kick from the edge of the 18-yard area.
Jody Ah Shene also scored twice while Shakeel April and Langelihle Phil also claimed a goal each.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
It is a massive win for not only Amajita, but also Vilakazi who has been consistent for the U20 national team.
The exploits are also a plus for the Bafana Bafana coach who is currently enjoying the depth of in-form youngsters.
On Friday, another 20-year-old Relebohile Mofokeng and midfielder Jayden Adams were on target as the national team beat Lesotho 2-0 in the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifier.

WHAT ELSE?
Amajita are among the 12 teams that have qualified for the 2025 U20 Afcon.
Ivory Coast will host the biennial competition that will take place from April 26 to May 18.
All players born from January 1, 2005 or later are eligible.
WHAT NEXT?
The two teams are set to play each other again on Tuesday March 25.
It will give the technical team enough time to assess the players ahead of the U20 Afcon finals.
