Even most feared witches can't handle mighty Kaizer Chiefs, what was the goal going to be ruled out for?

There is a heated debate in Mzansi on whether the officials got it wrong in the game between Stellies and Amakhosi.

Kaizer Chiefs collected a vital 3-1 Nedbank Cup win against Stellenbosch on Saturday at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to get their semi-final ticket.

It ended controversially as Stellies felt the referees made a big mistake awarding the Soweto giants a goal instead of giving them a foul on goalkeeper Sage Stephens.

While a section of the Amakhosi supporters feel the goal was legit, others have contradicting opinion.

Have a look at the debate as sampled by GOAL.

It was clear goal, how can Stephens fist the ball?

Sage Stephens, Stellenboch vs Kaizer Chiefs, February 2025

Guys that was a clear goal; if we had a VAR, Chiefs were going to get a penalty for a handball, how can Sage Stephens fist a ball instead of holding it -  Olebogeng Makoto

Nothing about Toure? He should have been red carded

Ismael Toure, Stellenbosch

But you won't say anything about Ismail Toure; first, he handled the ball on purpose, then he punched Gaston Sirino, both of those incidents should have been a red card -  Lade RHymes

Petersen sent off instead of Toure

Brandon Petersen, Kaizer Chiefs

Toure was supposed to get a red card but they gave it to Brandon Petersen where else Toure committed fouls - Tinas Yamal

Clear goal from Mmodi, no need to complain

Pule Mmodi, Kaizer Chiefs

Truly speaking, that was a clear goal; Stevens punched the ball but unfortunately, it remained in the danger zone and Pule Mmodi scored. There's no need to complain - Rah Mphuh Meh
